Where can I get a headphone extender chord with a splitter on the end for my kids new portable dvd player?
DeReGeneration Trailer

I got my kids a portable dvd player for in our van for long trips, but it only has one outlet for headphones. I know that there are extenders and splitters, but do they make an extender with a splitter on the end, and if they do, where can I purchase one? Thanks.

Any electronics store should have something, but here is what I found online:

Hope this helps.

What is the best dvd player for kids to use?
Game Snacks Kids Trivia DVD Game

I've seen commercials for the kid tough dvd player - but reviews say the screen is REALLY tiny and it still skips when the kids drops it, so is it really worth the money?

I've seen another one that was the same size but cheaper and not as "tough".

Have you ever bought one for your kids? What brand was it and do you like it?

Suggestions?
Oh - I have two boys who are two and a daughter who is three. So I need one that's durable. They're not that rough with their toys - but they are toddlers. The DVD player is for when we take long trips.
@Pensburg = THANKS! We're taking a trip from MA to NC and need to keep the kids entertained. I did read that the kid tough one has less then 2 hours battery - and the kid to charge it in your car is another $40

I honestly wouldn't spend any money on the tough kid dvd player that you've seen in commercials getting dropped down the steps and stuff. If you're mainly going to use it for long trips, aka in the car, then I'd suggest just buying a normal portable dvd player. I don't what kind of vehicle you drive so you'd have to determine the best way to secure it in the car. Here's the link for the tough kid dvd player:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d o?product_id=10040339

Here's a list of much cheaper portable dvd players that cost almost half the price, that have larger screens, and more battery life:

Because in all honesty I don't see the purpose of the tough kid dvd player for use in a car. Now if they are in the house, that might be a different story with your kids, but if they really want to watch a dvd why can't you just stick it into one of the televisions/dvd players around the house? And save yourself 140 bucks?

I need a portable DVD player for 3 kids to watch in 2 rows of seats and not installed in the roof of the van.?
Game Snacks Kids Trivia DVD Game

I am going on a long car trip (9 1/2 hours) w/ 3 kids under the age of 6 in a mini van that cannot have 3 car seats in one row. I do not want the DVD player in the roof of the car. Ideally I need one w/ 3 screens or 1 screen to hang between the 2 front seats, and a separate screen in the back. I would like to have one w/ headphones for all 3 kids. I would love any recommendations. It's very hard to search for this on-line.

How easy is it to record our family VHS tapes (kids growing up, grandchildren) onto a recordable DVD player?

We have twenty years of VHS recordings of the children, holidays and other family celebrations. Now that VHS is a dying media format, we are at last thinking of getting a DVD player/recorder.
Is it simply a case of plugging-in our video player into our proposed DVD recorder/player, or is it more complicated than that? (for info, I live in the UK)

its very easy... connect video to dvd recorder with scart lead on line2/av2..connect dvd to tv- line in 1/av1, set dvd to av2/line2, press play on video, record on dvd...... all you will need to make sure is that you buy the correct type of discs for the dvd recorder...
(you can get a dvd recorder in tesco's for £70, and it will be fine for what you want... there will be a quick set-up guide in the instructions which is very handy..) get those happy memories safe on disc!! good luck.. if you get stuck, email me.. cheers.
