I have a 93 Ford Taurus, would an overhead dvd player be able to be installed in this car?

My husband is really handy, but I want to make sure that my older car would have the right connections for him to be able to install it. I would like to get one under $200 and be able to take it out and install it on a newer vehicle in the future. I want one that has a built in dvd player in the monitor. Any suggestions on brand, etc would be helpful.


Overhaed dvd players can be installed in pretty much and car now-a-days. You can even pick one up at walmart, with all the mounting hardware, for cheap.

Is it possible to just buy just an overhead lcd screen without a dvd player for a car?

I have a dvd player in my dash. I just want an overhead lcd screen installed so whats playing on the dash appears on that screen.


As long as the player and screen have matching inputs/outputs (ie: RCA), then yeah it'll work.

You can do it, but I do not know the extent of your skills. Have it done. Best Buy does stuff like this.

How to hook an overhead dvd player in a camper?

How and is it possible to use an overhead dvd player like you would use in a car to put in a camper over a bunk, or do they make them for campers/rv's specally i would like to learn how beacuse my camper is small and in the summer it would be nice to watch tv when i cant fall asleep. Much thanks
