I have a Philips Portable DVD player.The model is PET702/37.It came with a cord that looks like you can plug video games into it.

Most likely you can. A lot of them have a video input mode which lest you use them as a monitor for a standard A/V signal.

I have a philips portable dvd player, the other day it just stopped playing dvds... the dvd would start spinning like it was going to play and said loading on the screen for about 20 seconds then said No Disc. I tried several different DVD's (all of which had played in the player previously)and it did the same thing every time. I put a music CD in and it played fine. I tried a lens cleaner, still not playing DVDs. Any clue as to why it will play CD's and not DVD's?

The lens or other optical components are dirty, or the DVD laser has gone out of spec.

so recently my philips portable DVD player model: PET1030/37 stopped charging when I plugged it into the wall or the car. so I thought that the problem was the actually charging cord so I went and bought another one for this model and the player still wouldn't charge. so now I know that the problem is the internal battery. it must have been recharged so many times that it wont charge anymore. so now im wondering how to get into my player to change the battery. and if your answer to this problem is that it can't be replaced, please don't respond because all products say this and its never true, i've replaced plenty of battery's in my electronics. so if someone could please tell me how or direct me to a site that will tell me how, this would be helpful! thanks :)

try going 2 radio shack and see if u can get a new 1 or call the company and yell at them about how u dont likt there product and u might get a new 1 for free

I personally feed that buying it is not quite worth it. I would suggest you to check out the new Cowon D2 Video Player. Its compact - plays unplugged for a good 8hrs on the move.
