pink dvd player

I've been looking everywhere for a pink portable DVD Player for my cousin for Christmas. I still haven't had any luck finding one. It has to be pink. My cousin would truly love it. Please help :) Thanks

Lately, when I turn my DVD player on, the screen is pink and I have to take the HDMI cable from my satellite receiver and plug it into the DVD player to watch it. Is this a problem with the cables?

Sounds like you have your DVD hooked up via component video input (red green blue wires) and either one wire is bad, the input or output of the component video is bad, or you don't have your DVD player setup for component video output. All these could lead to the problem you describe.

Seeing as how it was working, I would bet a cable fell out. Check the cables to see if they are all still securely attached. If they are then try replacing the cable(you can try using a composite AV cable which is yellow red white. just make sure the colors that go out from one color enter into the same color).

Also, check your DVD player settings to see if you have to select component video output. I have personally had to do this for my model DVD player(samsung)

i have a brand new panasonic Plasma TV, and i have just hooked my dvd player up through the component cables. but when i turn the dvd player on its pink. i tried using the normal input (the single yellow cord) after and it was fine, so is the normal hd tv channels. so i switched back to the component and it was pink again. are there any settings on my tv/dvd palyer that i might need to change to fix this?

sounds to me like one of three things 1. you don't have the component cables plugged in snugly. check the connections at both ends. 2. you have a bad component cable. swap it out with another cable and see if you have the same issue. 3. the component port is bad on either the DVD player or the TV. try the dvd player via component with that same cable on another TV. if it's not pink there, than chances are you have an issue with the component input on the panasonic.
