Now for my Integra I went with something flashier AVH-P5100DVD

I have a Pioneer AVH-P6600 car dvd player, I planning to install it myself....?

I was wondering if i could install the unit without the brain(module that allows you to add additional screens) and have it fully functional. I heard that you still need the brain installed even if you don't plan on adding screens. Is this true???

I have pioneer make DVH-P4950MP dvd player in my car .Now it displays error02-9E,Can any one answer?

Some of the dvds are occassionaly running without problem.But some are not?What would be the possible reasons?


Need more info, to be sure, are they burnt discs or originals, if they are burnt discs if they are +r or -r, and if they are the sames discs that will always work or the same that won't work, some dvd players have issues with certain type of burnt cds ie + or - r, and even some have problems with ceratain brand of discs, also some dvd players have issues with reading discs even originals because some dvds have certain anti pirating or macrovison be keep if from being copied which will sometimes not work on earlier dvd players. First you might to start with the basics, which is cleaning it with a dvd cleaner disc.
