How can I mount a portable DVD player to my car headrest without using one of the DVD bags?

I know they have these non slip surfaces that you can put anywhere on your car. It makes anything stay in place. MIne is on my dash but you can try it behindyour seat.

LONG Car Ride with 5 girls under 2!!?

Ok, So me & my husband have 5 daughters:
-Tammy (2)
-Daisy (1 & 1 Month)
-Libby & Anna-Lynn (Both are Adopted & the same age, 8 months)
-Skyler (4 months)

Ok, so, we have to go to my Grandfather's Funeral in North Dakota, and we live in Pittsburgh PA. We know it'll be a long drive but What are we going to do to entertain our kids for around 20 Hours & 21 minutes? (I used google Maps)
I mean, the longest car ride our daughters have been in was about 10 hours (Family Vacation in MI)
Last time, we brought a portable DVD player for the older girls, and a toy box. But I don't think both of those things will entertain them that long, because Out of just 10 hours, they slept 3 hours. And my husband figured out they'll probably only sleep 6-7 hours this trip. So... Any Ideas?
Besides a Portable DVD player & Toy Bag??

can't think of anything else there isn't really nothing else there all basically babies so theres notheing they can do they won't pay attention to anything else will they unless u wanna sit back there entertaining them

Which of these 2 brands of portable DVD players are better and longer lasting?

I'm looking to buy a portable DVD player and want to know which of the brands below are better as they're on special at the moment.I'm looking for 1 that is long lasting and worth my money.Below are the details that are listed in the catalogues and I would appreciate any help from anyone.

Chevron 17cm (7') portable dvd player:
*2 hour lithium battery (is it rechargeable)
*Built in anti-shock system,
*built in 2 channel speakers
* includes Remote
RRP:$118
You have to buy an accessory pack separately which is $20.

Base Portable DVD player:
17.5cm (7')
Built in Rechargeable battery
*includes car charger,headrest,mounting bag,
remote and earphones.
RRP:$99

Which one do you think is worth my money.I want to run it off the battery but also the power cable too.I'm leaning towards the chevron but i don't want something that will breakdown in a few years. Can anyone help?
Anybody's opinion would be appreciated

You may want to check your nearest Radio Shack, Walmart, Target, Sears. Don't buy it from a auto part store. Think of warranty or extended warranty, All battery packs that comes with the DVD player is rechargeable. Lithium battery is longer lasting than NiCd, or NiMd.

But for this argument, I'm leaning on the Chevron. First the battery is of a better technology and lasts longer, has an anti-shock system. The down part, is that the costs, plus you gotta buy a car charger, which comes in the accessory pack. If you can get an extended warranty for this item, get it.

Good Luck

things to pack in bag for holiday. for in car?

im going on holiday to paris and were driving then getting a ferry. so im guessing it will take about 5 hours, (please correct me if im wrong, im in england). and i was wondering what i should put in my bag for in the car. not in my suitcase because that will be in the boot.

ive already thought of these-
portable dvd player
dvds
ipod touch
nintendo ds
ds games
haribos xD
a drink
crisps

... and i cant think of anything else!

any ideas?

If you are going from England to France by ferry then I recommend also putting your passport and tickets in your bag near the top as you will need these at the ferry port.

Useful to make sure you have both Euros and Pounds, as exchanging money on the ferry is not normally the best value to get your holiday money.

I would also add sunglasses, as I'm sure you are hoping for nice weather on the drive over!
