Ok, I'm stumped. I am looking for a portable DVD player. I like the tablet style so it doesn't have to sit like an "L" to be played on the back of the headrest in my car. I am also looking for a safe mounting option for it. These belts and buckles included in the portable carrying cases just don't look safe. I am going to be using it for my daughter and am worried that if I were to get in an accident it could possibly come loose and strike her. Perhaps it's a slim chance but still possible.

Does anyone have any ideas? Every portable DVD player I look at has flaky reviews and I can't find one of those "pouch style" headrest mounts (looks like a headrest cover) that will fit a tablet style portable DVD player. Help!

So... if you are a car robber, how much does a car alarm deter you? Some alarms only go off when you open the door, so.. solution you break the window at 3 in the morning and boom! No alarm goes off and you're good.

But what about the better alarms that will go off if you so much as rock the car, much less break a window. Are you still going to break in and just be quick, knowing the chances of someone coming out as fast as you can be is slim?

Also what is the best time for you people to attack? I'd say around 3 in the morning when you KNOW everybody is sleeping.

My car has been broken into THREE times in the last two years. The first time was the stareo, a little 3 1'2" DVD MP3 player. The second was a Laptop. And the Third was my wifes car, the DVD head unit, one of the tv-headrests. All times of course the window was smashed in. The first time they even tried to take the car I assume since the steering collum was borken.
Oh, and I would think apartments complexes would be the best place too since you typically park in masses and not in site from your front door or window even.

i am not a car robber by no means but i know some and they don't care about car alarm they r so quick it is scary! i have a nice car but i don't leave anything in my car because these thieves are really good at what they do and the couple that i know will actually stake out your car a couple of times before they rob it! they know what time you come and what time you go and what you are leaving behind in the car so basically don't leave nothing in there! and yeah they usually rob around 2 a.m!
