Since they are so cheap, it might be better to buy them!

Look at this lot (which is pretty average) and you'll realise why!

Reliable tablet style portable DVD player with safe in-car mounting?

Ok, I'm stumped. I am looking for a portable DVD player. I like the tablet style so it doesn't have to sit like an "L" to be played on the back of the headrest in my car. I am also looking for a safe mounting option for it. These belts and buckles included in the portable carrying cases just don't look safe. I am going to be using it for my daughter and am worried that if I were to get in an accident it could possibly come loose and strike her. Perhaps it's a slim chance but still possible.

Does anyone have any ideas? Every portable DVD player I look at has flaky reviews and I can't find one of those "pouch style" headrest mounts (looks like a headrest cover) that will fit a tablet style portable DVD player. Help!
Thanks!

Why does my Coby DVD portable player use up the battery so fast? What can be done about it?

It is the Coby TF-DVD7050, 7" portable tablet style dvd player. If I put it on pause or prestop for more than a minute, then I won't have enough battery life to watch a whole movie.

just a FYI Coby isn't the best brand. Also, Depending on how long you have had it. Its either came defective or the battery is just bad. Call Coby if they have a number and see what they can do for you.

portable dvd for car (kids) or media player?

looking for a new portable dvd player for car, one that attaches to the back of the seat, preferably tablet style. The issue - I've gone thru two dvd players so far (one coby, the other toshiba), so I am not sure what the deals is. I do know I need a new one.

can someone recommend a new table style dvd that attaches easily to the back of the headrest? an 7-8.5inches would do.

Also, what about a media player? are there any out there that would play DVD, and have either internal memory or card slot to run dvix videos? any under say $300?

I toyed for a while with the idea of a car pc, but it seems at least one needs ~$1200 for that kind of stuff. too much for me.

Sony is a good portable DVD player brand. We have one and it works really well. ☮

Will watching a DVD make me feel motion sick?

I get car sickness really badly and i am going on a 9 hour bus journey tomorrow overnight. I can't read in a bus so i was wondering if i took my portable DVD player would it make me feel sick. Also i am taking travel sickness tablets too. Best answer ~ 10 points :D !

I think it might but it depends you could always try it and stop to look out of the window if you start to feel ill.
