How?

Not with Auxilary jack, cause auxilary only transmit audio signal, but most dvd player has AV cable input in back u just need to buy AV cable to ipod converter to play any video

I want to be able to run windows media player using my touch screen dvd player in my car. I know it's a little much, but it's unique. I don't care if thats the only thing on the hard drive, I want to run the cool visuals through my dvd player. Any ideas would really help. DVD player is a touch screen jensen, don't remember the model #/

The idea is to have a "non-hard drive" based computer that runs standalone Windows XP from a Bootable USB drive that runs the music player of your choice.

Your MP3's are stored on another USB drive that can be removed for editing.

This all ties into your sound system (amp subs/speakers).

No hard drive means nothing will crash. A touch screen display is really the only other peice of equipment needed that can be custom mounted in your dash.

Look up BartPE and Sherpya. These two guys found a way to run the full GUI of Windows XP on a USB drive (under 600 Mb).

A shuttle style computer is all you need for the computer.

i am getting a jenson 7'' in dash dvd player soon for my car. i do not live in the safest town and i also drive a 93 civic. does any one know of ways to protect it from getting stolen out of the car, or do you think it will. do not say tint the windows.... i kno that. and other ideas? have a great holiday.

Put an alarm system on the car.

Don't Drive around your neighborhood(3-5 miles) with the music blaring or a dvd playing on the touchscreen. Same goes with malls and other unsafe places to park, turn it off before hand, because if a thief sees something he likes and knows is worth money, hes going to follow you.

Its also possible(with some modifications and a lot of effort) to secure it to the frame/add a lock in the dash. Don't know the specifics for a honda but it(the radio) came factory attached to the firewall in my friends volvo. When he replaced it with an after market one he modified some metal pieces and soldered them together then bolted it back on to the firewall.
