wireless dvd player

Have AT&T U-Verse wireless network; modem/router in one room & DVD player in another room. Want to connect DVD player to existing wireless network. What's the best way to do that without moving router? Thank you!

You have two options:
1) Run an Ethernet cable to the DVD player. If you have a single story house, this is fairly easy.
2) Buy an Ethernet to Wireless Bridge adapter. This will give you an Ethernet port and you join the wireless to your existing WLAN. Ne sure to get a Wireless Bridge adapter that supports WPA2.

In the master bedroom of our new house we have a corner fireplace with a cable outlet and electrical outlet just above it to mount a flat screen tv.

We currently have a 32" flat screen that does not have a built in DVD player. There is no way to mount a DVD player above the fireplace and showing any of the wires is out of the question. I'm wondering if anyone make a wireless DVD player that will reach from about 15' away? My plan is to put the DVD player in one of the night stands beside the bed and have a wireless signal sent to the TV if this is possible.

Does the buffalo player have to connect directly to the TV or is there an adaptor to connect to the tv the collects the wireless signal from the buffalo dvd player?

My wireless signal over the past three days has either been Low or Very Low. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I have a portable DVD player plugged in close to the computer that I'm trying to pick up signal with. I would just unplug it right now to check, but my brother is watching a movie on it.

But someone else in area might have gotten onto wireless if it isn't secured. So secure it with wep
Also, change the channel, no one ever does and that could do it.

I'm in the market for a lower budge wireless networked DVD player. It has to allow me to plug into the dvi in socket on my TV.

Can anyone suggest to me which is the best brand/model to go for? Ease of use is less important to me than sound/picture quality, and it has to support DivX.

Wireless 802.11g would be ideal too.

I know there are several wireless DVD players that you connect directly to a TV.

I am looking for a wireless DVD player that I can set about 15-20 feet away from the TV with no wired connection at all to the TV.

Does anyone make a Wireless DVD palyer that I can set about 15-20 feet away from the TV? I'm guessing if this product exists there would be some type of modulator device that would connect via the RCA outlets on the back of the TV and then your wireless DVD player would transmit a signal that would be picked up by the modulator.

My new house has a in the wall fireplace in the corner of the master bedroom. Above it are connection for cable and electricity. There is no place or shelving to mount a dvd player behind the TV. The flatscreen that I have does not have a built in DVD player. I would like to put the DVD player in my nightstand about 15-20 feet away. That way there will be no cords showing and the DVD player would be hidden.
