I would really like to do the JL 10w7s or the JL 10w6"s but im wondering if this amp is too small, i would hate to have to buy a more expensive amp just to power them, or wouyld it be smart to just use some JL 10 w6's with that amp. Can anyone reccommend a real nice amp thats really strong to poere the w7's that doesnt cost as much as the JL amps, those things are expensive, i would really like to get the w 6's or the w7's but i only have the depth of around 14 or 15 inches in my trunk. what would you put in there ?
The JL 1000/1 is probably the cleanest class D amp out there and borrows from class A/B amp technology to keep the SQ up and uses Class D technology to keep efficiency good. The amp does suck alot of juice though because it makes a TON of power and does so even through voltage drops (to 11 volts) becuause of it's regulated power supply. the amp has a selectable crossover (24db slopes NICE) and bass boost and provides a damping factor of 500 when presented with a 4 ohm load...not many class d amps can do this...this is a great amp.
For your sub choice you need to look at what you are trying to get out of your system and decide if you will be turning on bass boosts and loudness features and such as both the 10w6v2 and the 10w7 vary tremendously in how they sound and perform.
The 10w6v2 is JL's sound quality sub this sub sounds great and plays music how it should be played (flat frequency response), SQ fanatics love this sub...people looking to wake the neighborhood hate it (because its not a ground pounder),I personaly think the w6v2 is the best sub out there.
The 10w7 is an SQL sub (sound quality+loudness) this sub has the potential to get much louder than the 10w6v2 and can take well over 500 watts....the output many consider to be very "bloated" and lowend heavy this sub is very hard to get tuned properly in your everyday car audio system, I only recomend these if you have a front stage with 150+ watts going to each front speaker and dedicated midbass driver's and crossing the sub over lower than 65hz..
With the JL 1000.1 running two 10w6v2's you would be running these subs to theyre full potential and there would be no room for any bass boosts/enhancements ( remember these subs were designed for a flat frequency response bass boosts ruin this) and the setup would sound awesome for all types of music...it just wont impress alot of people who are used to loud systems.
Two 10w7's pushed by the same amp would be louder and sound good but won't be pushed to there potential (I have put a JL 1000.1 on ONE 10w7) with this sub you have room to use bass enhancements and such and it will definantly BOOM alot louder but give up a bit in sound quality....it realy comes down to what kind of listener you are.
2, 14 inch and a loud tweeter along with 2 other 5 inch speakers on the side. the original 8 in. woofer of the z-2300 system was used. Volume at ...
My problem is i have good back speakers but the front are stock and they suck, so im thinking with such big subs all im gonna here is bass. The reason there so big is because my uncle gave them to me for free so thats what im throwing in my car. I have an amp to power them, do you think i'll be able to turn the subs down on my amp?
Yes. Just turn the gain down on the amp. You will find a separate knob for it on your amp.

from their each specification which one do you prefer and why?
i love music and burning cd and writing some program like vb6, java, turbo C and in the future i like to learn making a website......
Since your criteria has nothing to do with gaming, I'd assume this is for general programming purpose.
For programming you'd definitely want faster processing speed for computation. Hence we pick the Core 2 Duo CPU.
12 or 14 inch makes little difference at home, where you should be plugging the notebook into a larger display anyway. Bear in mind, even 14" is far too small to read tiny font size, and definitely too limited to have split windows.
So that brings us to our next criteria: weight. I don't know how mobile do you want to be, this is something crucial that you totally left out. But weight wise, as long as the set doesn't exceed 2.4Kg, it is still manageable. Mind you, 2.4Kg is the average weight for 14" notebooks.
In terms of looks and build quality, Asus vs. HP, I'd go with Asus. There is a growing list of issues with HP/Compaq notebooks lately, such as machines dying prematurely. However that isn't why I choose Asus. I'm doing so because I've sampled both sets, and found Asus to be nicer, period. I find CQ20 to be a little bit boring. It's a personal preference.
If you want a really good 14", I'd recommend Asus N81Vp instead. This is one you won't regret buying.

I just would like to see any suggestions on pricing from honest ppl and not low ballers or scammers.
Tv was bought in Feb.07
Xbox 360 Elite was bought June.07
Pc was built and purchased April.07
In the ad I posted pick up only in Bronx NY at my apt as I am not shipping.
Any 1 interested email Junemas@aol.com
Sell them seperately you'll get more... Basically you'll want to Take 25 to 30 % off the original purchase if the things are less than a year old.. If they are older you'll want to take about 50 to 60 % off the games especially ----and 40% off the tv. If microsoft drops the price of the elite them take the 25 to 30% off the currnet in store list price..
Hope this helps.. Also find out shipping cost and list that as a seperate cost to the buyer.

Discount Television - Definitive Technology Mythos 4 Tower Speaker
My system consists of Mythos 4’s for the Front speakers, Mythos 5’s for the rear surrounds, a Mythos 3 for the center channel and a Super Cube II for the sub. I drive these with a Denon 2310ci and my video is a Pioneer Elite KURO signature series 60″ monitor 141FD. My AV room is around 14′ x 20.
The sound from this system is really nice. Clean and uncolored, very natural best describes it. The system also has a great Wife Acceptance Factor. The look is classy and does not look out of place in the room. The center channel is amazingly clear. I’ve always had a complaint about the muffled center channel sound on many home systems. This center delivers. The Denon Audyssey setup leaves a sound stage that is close to perfect. No holes or hotspots. The sub is powerful and moves a tremendous amount of air for it’s diminutive size.
