2 inch car speakers

I have a ram 1500 quadcab, what is the best audio speakers on the market.

Alpine type X is a GREAT speaker....
i also own a set of Rockford fosgate T162S which ive also been very happy with

i have 4 stock speakers in my Infiniti j30. i have 2, 2 1/2"x4 inch speakers i want to add in just for more sound. if i put them in series with my door speakers which are 4x6 could it make it to where they would all have to be the same volume making it easier to overload my smaller speakers by having my bigger speakers loud? can i somehow wire them in to have the small ones at a lower level power while having my current bigger speakers at the same power?

if you run it in series it will keep them all at the same level, the only way it wont be at the same level is if you have an amp

Depends on what your idea of blasted means. They are good but they are only a 4 inch speaker remember. As long as you take some of the bass out of them they will get loud. I hope this helps you and good luck.

i ordered 2 kicker component systems, and i waited a month for them, and they sent me 6 inch not 6 1/2 which i need, and i was thinkin i might just try to put the 6 inch ones in, is this a good idea

Some cars will allow you to place these speakers without a problem. Others you will need to buy a speaker plate. If you are handy I'd recommend creating your own out of MDF wood instead of buying the cheap plastic ones they sell. The wood will cut down on vibration and actually give you a better sound than installing on the metal.

Yea already got everything ready i got 2 15 inch cvx with 2 zx1000.1 kicker amps... But now i just need my car speakers now should i go with 2 way or 3 way speakers for my car and how many i need or do it even matter whats the differents thanks.

a 2 way speaker is set up for higs, and lows. the woofer on the 6x9 is going to cover most of the mids as well. and the tweeter will get the higher mids the woofer missed. a 3 way 6x9 has its own mid bass driver. unlike comps most 6x9s can play lows down to about 30 hrz. thats to give you good bass, when you dont have subs. you dont have to worry about that.

it really depends on what 6x9s your looking for. for example i think pioneer premier 3-ways sound better then there 2 ways. but i think boston acoustic 6x9s sound better then pioneer 3 ways.

what i'm saying is go for what 6x9 sounds best to you. and if you amp them there going to sound a lot better.
