4 inch car audio speakers

i want to kno what are the best 4 inch car audio speakers i get get for a good price... and where? i want something that can handle being played loud..

i'd say blaupunkt. they are absolutely the very best. the bass is amazing and the noise is almost nil.

the sound reproduction is fantastic.

go for blaupunkt. yeah.

are they any good? can they handle being blasted?

Depends on what your idea of blasted means. They are good but they are only a 4 inch speaker remember. As long as you take some of the bass out of them they will get loud. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Im getting 2 12" Kicker CVR's and i wanna be able to hear the song while the bass is pounding.....i was told i might not need new speakers bc im getting it in a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder SE....but if i do would these speakers be enough to hear the song while the bass is pounder or would i need louder ones?

i had two of the kicker cvr's and they are great speakers but you will need to upgrade your other speakers. the cvr's have the save rating as the kicker l7 but the l7 have more bass. im a big kikcer fan.

Well I am buying a system for my car. Everything is stock right now. I have a 94 ford escort. Im probally gonna switch out the front and back speakers each with an Eclispe (stero brand not the car) 5 1/4 inch speakers. Im gonna get a amp and probally two twelve inch subs to go in the back. What all materials do I need for the speakers? and what all materials do I need for the subs? Regular check list type format would be apprciated pls?

relay wire (from the HU to the amp)

I recently bought a 2002 grand prix GT and it has the factory delco sysem in it right now. I want to upgrade the audio and honestly I don't know where to start. I plan on going into a local place and will have them install it for me but I don't want to go in without knowing anything and getting suckered into something I don't really need.

First of all, I'm not looking for a system that pounds so much that everyone on the block hears it.. I would like something that sounds good from in the car and maybe you can hear the bass if your on the sidewalk as I'm passing by.

I"m trying to spend the least amount possible. I'm not necessarily looking for cheap brands but maybe older model tried and true brand name stuff where possible.



Here's what I'm looking for -

1- A decent head unit/ deck that plays mp3's
2 - 6x9's in the back
3 - Speakers for the front doors but don't know what size to look for.
4. 10 or 12 inch sub
5. Amp to push system

suggestions appreciated

one thing you can do is get a 5 channel amp. most people in the store dont try to sell these because they would rather sell you two amps. a 5 channel Will push your front speakers rear speakers and a sub woofer.

i would suggest to go with brands that you know like alpine pioneer kicker and JL. most big brands are known for a reason and most big brands are CEA compliant and you want CEA compliant.
