4 inch component speakers

I have a component 2 way seperate system in my truck 6.5 inch w/ tweeters and crossover, i want to add a 4 inch component speaker but i cant seem to find any manufacturer that sells one, not a coaxial, just a component- and my amp will run at 2 ohms. Any help locating one will be appreciated.

Do an ebay search for speakers and then use the sidebar to narrow the search to 4" components + component systems
If you are not comfortable buying on ebay you can at least see whats out there and then search by model number at your preferred dealer

Hey all, here's the deal.

I'm running an aftermarket head unit in my '98 audi A4. Rather than running new wires to the rear speakers, I've decided to only use my front speakers. I was looking at some after market options, but I found out that the front speakers are only 4 inches! Can I put together a good component system with 4 inch speakers? Does anyone know if I can modify the car to fit 6.5" speakers?

have someone do the wiring and then just put them in the back,, it'll be a lot less of a headache (i wouldnt advise going to circuit city though, they messed up on my other car)

To be honest, I don't know, but I dare say if you dig around on some Fiat internet forum or a speaker manufacturers website, you might be able to find out, but why not just pop off one of the covers and measure it, you're going to have to take them off anyway?

i have a 2001 Daewoo Lanos with 4 inch speakers in the doors and 6.5s in the back would it be better to get 3 ways speakers all around or get Component Speakers for the back and plain 2way 4 inchers in the front?

Component will always sound better

I have a 2002 Grand Prix and I bought new two way 5 1/4 inch door speakers. The car has stock tweeters which run off the leads of the stock 5 1/4 inch speakers, so I thought that I had to disconnect the stock tweeters to enable the tweeter on the new 5 1/4. Is this correct, or could I hook the stock tweeter back up to get additional sound? Also, do you know of any good tweeters that are flat- no protruding edges?

No you can keep the tweeters running of the head unit like I do. And my components run off my amp.
