I have a 4 gauge wire running from my batter with a back trail of wire running to a 1 farad cap. The four gauge wire continues to a distribution block that breaks the wires into two separate ones. 1 wire runs to a 1000 watt power acoustic amp and the other wire runs to a 4 channel rockford fosgate amp 380 watt. The power acoustic amp powers two 12' inch subs, sony 380 watt rms. The rockford which has brand new speaker wire/speed wire ran to it, runs four speakers. two 6.5 alpines in the front and 2 6x9 alpines in the rear. When I turn the music up to 45 for ex. the speakers cut out and cut back in. When I lower the volume immediately it is fine. But the speakers are brand new, brand new speaker wire, subs brand new, rockford brand new, new 4 gauge wire, new cap. I have a pioneer 6100BT head unit. Very frustrating thanks!
Wow... this one really put me to work...
If i'm doing my math right, your RMS's add up to 1,030W among all 6 speakers. The general rule of thumb is 1,000W per Farad, so the only thing I can think of is swapping your cap for a larger one. Your acoustic sub might be hoarding all the power when it needs it and might be choking out your midrange amp. It really sounds like you've done everything right (4ga wire and all!) and honestly I think that cap SHOULD hold but when you consider peaks & bass hitting I don't think your cap can handle the load.
This being said, you probably already have one but if you don't you should add a crossover & cut out some lows from your midrange speakers. This will ease the pull on your second amp (and cap as well) and you won't be losing anything you don't need (audiowise).
The fact that the speakers cut out & back in makes me think this is a power problem. Good Luck!

so the Z-2300 has far superior sound, but is only 2 speakers[and a bit more expensive, bit we will assume price is no problem here]
the x-540 speakers have great reviews and they are surround sound i havent had surround sound before and i am eager to try it
, but sound quality is not nearly as good.
heres what i would be using them for
Movies. i sit on my bed, and watch movies on my monitor. I want to be able to hear dialogue etc easily, hear bass and such from big explosions, you know.
i game heavily[ some FPS, WoW, and DotA]
I listen to music alot, both sitting at my computer or entertaining at my place in general.
which should i get?
Go with the 540's. You can set them up so that you can hear the bad guy trying to sneak up on you. I own the 540's and the sound quality is fantastic. I hope this helped.

hello, my name is tom. i own a mitsubishi colt 2009 and have one problem the standard stereo and speakers are complete trash. I went to halfords and bought myself the new edge 10 inch sub woofer with built in amp as well as 4 edge speakers. My friend said he would fit the equipment at no cost. As far as im aware he run the sub and amp off the speakers since he couldn't run it off the head unit. He fitted two small edge speakers in the back but couldn't fit any in the front since he couldn't get the door panels off.
I got my car back two hours later and the sub and amp were fitted ok and it all sounded correct. However he has made a complete mess of the inside door panel and not only scratched the paintwork but snapped the plastic attached to the door. That however is not the only problem. After a couple of days my speakers started to distort at quite a low volume (around 16 and max vol is 45) and there is hardly any sound coming out of the two speakers he fitted in the back as well as in the parcel shelf. The two speakers in the front are 15w stock speakers but in the back and parcel shelf are 70w rms edge speakers.
I have tried the equaliser and everything is set to 0. My idea is either he has wired it up wrong or the head unit isn't putting out enough power. Any advice would be excellent.
Tom C
My advice is to bring it to a professional shop, because quite honestly, it's to the point where explaining how to fix a mess that was created without being able to see it is nearly impossible. Have a professional shop clean up the attempted install, and start from scratch so things are done correctly.
Price: $55.00
6-1/2-inch, two-way speakers with 180 watts maximum power handling (30 watts nominal)
1-3/16-inch balanced dome tweeter with neodymium magnet
30 Hz to 28 kHz frequency response; 90 dB sensitivity
Composite IMPP cone woofer with cloth surround
Shallow depth basket for increased installation versatility
My choices are mixed, both 2.1 and 5.1. All the speakers will be on my computer desk so would there be a difference between the two? Also the 2.1 has more W. The prices for #1, and 2 are the same. #3 is about $30 more. I'm not sure which one to get. I'll use the speakers for mostly movies and games.
The choices are.

from their each specification which one do you prefer and why?
i love music and burning cd and writing some program like vb6, java, turbo C and in the future i like to learn making a website......
Since your criteria has nothing to do with gaming, I'd assume this is for general programming purpose.
For programming you'd definitely want faster processing speed for computation. Hence we pick the Core 2 Duo CPU.
12 or 14 inch makes little difference at home, where you should be plugging the notebook into a larger display anyway. Bear in mind, even 14" is far too small to read tiny font size, and definitely too limited to have split windows.
So that brings us to our next criteria: weight. I don't know how mobile do you want to be, this is something crucial that you totally left out. But weight wise, as long as the set doesn't exceed 2.4Kg, it is still manageable. Mind you, 2.4Kg is the average weight for 14" notebooks.
In terms of looks and build quality, Asus vs. HP, I'd go with Asus. There is a growing list of issues with HP/Compaq notebooks lately, such as machines dying prematurely. However that isn't why I choose Asus. I'm doing so because I've sampled both sets, and found Asus to be nicer, period. I find CQ20 to be a little bit boring. It's a personal preference.
If you want a really good 14", I'd recommend Asus N81Vp instead. This is one you won't regret buying.

I tried really hard to find a comparable difference between Sony, Samsung, on VIZIO TVs under $ 800 too. I could not find one. I stared at all three televisions for 45 minutes … hardly a significant difference. For the money you can not go wrong. the right mix of size, quality and price. I connected my ps3 to compare the quality between the TV and a 46 "xbr from SONY. I was shocked to see that this tv produces by far had a better picture (although the sony is 2 yearsold). Audio is poor and varies from time to time. I've had it for a month and cannot say that I have seen all the green lines or problems. If you wan't a TV under 1000 dollars, I would recommend you take a look at the vizio. I do not think vizio can hold a candle, if it is on the more expensive TVs, but when it competes at this price range … It is characterized
