So in about a year or so i'm getting a Scion Tc. I was wondering how would i wire the amps if possible. my plan was to change the 4 stock pioneer speakers to all 6.5 3 way after market pioneer speakers in the front and rear keeping the stock tweeters. Then in the trunk i plan to add 2 subs and mount in 2 6x9's in the trunk also. I plan to get a mono amp to run the subs and probably a 2 channel amp to run the 6 other speakers. so how would i wire the 2 channel amp to run the 2 6x9s and the 4 6.5 inch speakers? is it possible or would i be better off getting a 3 or 4 channel amp running 2 speakers to each channel. thanks
Also i was hoping to stick with just two amps. I plan on getting a kicker zx750.1 amp for 2 kicker CVR's, and a 150.2 or 200.2 kicker amp. I don't want to go over 1000 watts rms. Thanks.

You would be better off with a 4 channel amp for the four speakers, a small 2-channel amp for the tweets and a mono amp for the subs.

Since you're going coxial, I would use a 2-way or component instead. You don't want an overpowering of highs. A little high goes a long way.

I have a 2009 Accord with 6 speakers. I want to replace the stock 6 1/2 inch rear speakers by 6x9 after market speakers. Now the problem is that, there is a circular cut on the metal sheet in which the 6 1/2 inch speaker sits. There is no way I can fit the 6x9 speakers without having to cut the metal sheet in oval/egg shape. I don't want to do that metal cutting stuff. Can I just screw the 6x9 speakers around the circular cut? off course I will have to drill new holes in the metal, which I am fine with. Will that affect the sound coming from 6x9 speakers? Kindly let me know if you have other solutions..

as long as it is sealed you should have no problem. what i mean by sealed is that any space exposed with the 6x9's that normally wouldnt with the 6.5" is completely filled.

what would you say were the better spaekers and what would be the average rrp price of each.
Type r 6.5" components speakers or
Soundstream SST6.5 -6.5 inch 2-Way 240W Power Speakers
PIONEER TS-D161R 2-Way Speaker with 260 Watts Max Power
there are also a pair of JL 6" splits around the same price as the type R they are usually bout $50 more not sure of the name

The lowest brand you mentioned, by far, is Pioneer.
Get the JL's if possible, they are a top notch brand. If not, the TypeR's would be next pick then the Soundstreams.

Also, check out Focal, CDT, BostonAcoustics, MB Quart, Eclipse, Vifa, Morel, etc...
Those are all great brands, too.

Make sure you power them with an external amp. Otherwise they just won't perform like they should -more like, what you pay for them.

I have just gotten a Audio set for my car, containing a 12" sub, 760 watt AMP, 2 x 6 by 9 and some 6.5" to go in the doors. Everything has been installed except the 6.5" because apparently they wont fit and the doors will only fit 6 inch speakers. Is there any way that I can get the 6.5" 's to fit?
IF there is nothing that can be done does anyone have any suggestions to good quality 6 inch speakers?

You could just cut the hole a little bit bigger with a dremel or something
