6 inch door speakers

what is the best brand of 6.5 inch door speakers for my truck? i will be buying 2 pairs of speakers...i want a good brand of speaker with good output but NOT something that will kill my wallet...i have panasonics now..they are ok but i was thinking another brand might have better output...any help is appreciated! thanks

I love the Pyle brand speakers for areas that are prone to moisture and heat. A pair of 2-ways with polypropylene cones should run less than $100 and will sound great in an enclosed area like a door. I have a pair in my boat and they rock. I also put a pair of them in my F150 when I upgraded and the sound quality is excellent.

Amps/Subs there is no question in my head the MTX jackhammer series are great.

Sub= MTX JackHammer JH4510-04

Amp= MTX JackHammer JH300

As far as 6x9 door speakers Infinity Kappa 692.9i. Infinity Kappa speakers do a great job as door speakers.

I have a 2000 Mitsu Montero Sport (non-Infinity sound system) and I am looking to replace the front door speakers. Doors come wired with tweeters at the top of the door and 6 inch speakers on the bottom of the door. When replacing only the bottom speakers with a set of Polk db650's, do I have to disconnect the factory tweeters? Is there a factory crossover? No one at the dealership seems to know. I know there is a Polk db6500 that has the speakers with crossover and tweeters but I dont want to spend that much money if I dont have to.

if you have tweeters there has to be a crossover somewhere. are the new speakers 3 way or single way bass? if they are bass then just attach them streight onto the existing wiring if they are 3 way then you need to find the crossover and disconnect it so you have your new speakers attached streight to your amp/head unit!

I running a Kicker 750.1 amp to 1 L710" solo baric. I know i'm going with a kicker amp for my highs. I want to use either a Kicker 350.4 or a 200.4. Since my door speakers cant be seen i willing to use a different brand for those.

1: What's a good 6.5 inch speaker that will match to either of the two amps above and wont hurt my pockets
2: Should i run all 3 ways, all 2 ways, components, or both and how should i install these into my car for best possible sound.
3. Which of the 2 amps is the best to use for my highs

I put 6.5 two way mb quarts in my ta and they sound great. One way to tell a good speaker , close your eyes and listen to the speaker for clarity and if you can tell where the sound is coming from

I have just gotten a Audio set for my car, containing a 12" sub, 760 watt AMP, 2 x 6 by 9 and some 6.5" to go in the doors. Everything has been installed except the 6.5" because apparently they wont fit and the doors will only fit 6 inch speakers. Is there any way that I can get the 6.5" 's to fit?
IF there is nothing that can be done does anyone have any suggestions to good quality 6 inch speakers?

You could just cut the hole a little bit bigger with a dremel or something
