best car speakers

i have a chevy silverado 2500 and im getting new 4x6 for the front door and i was curious which brand has the best quality of car speakers??? thanks!

i got some infinity refenernce and they were very loud people thought i had them hooked up to an amp. the infinity kappas are even more powerful and the price isnt bad. great quality also mine nver distorted.

I got a 8ohm home reciever and I want to use car speakers because I am building some nice boxes for them but they are 4ohm speakers what is the best way to do this 1 speaker per channel 120watt rms or 2 speakers to 1 channel or any other ideas would be great will wiring them 8ohms will this be ok on the reciever?

If your home receiver is 8 ohms then it needs 8 ohm speakers. You can use the car speakers but you would have to use two per channel, wired up in series. Two in series would give you the 8 ohms that you need. Please make sure you observe correct polarities when hooking up these speakers. If you wire it up wrong the speakers will be out of phase and sound terrible.

okay, i have a 2002 honda accord coupe
and i need new door speakers, they are 6&1/2" in size. and i need rear dash speakers, they are 6x9s.
when i go on crutchfield and they tell me what speakers fit my car, none of the 6x9s do.
so whats up with that?
and what are the most reliable, best sounding speakers for loud music?
i was really considering memphis, but i dont know.
help me out, if you know alot about this, please, explain.

t's all personal preference, I have 2-15" Volfenhag subs, which are really nice. So I woulc assume their console speakers are. You can look at them on www.volfenhagaudio.com , if you do choose these, you can search the product key on Google and find great prices.

About a month ago I had 2 rear eclipse speakers installed in my car, and about 2 days ago they blew out. I have 2 polk audio speakers in the front, and they are starting to go bad, but I got those like 8 months ago. Does anyone know if there are any really high quality speakers out there that wont blow out easily? Does it matter what kind of cd player you have, cause I have an eclipse player. Does it matter if you have an amp or not?

I would go with any of the Infinaty Kappas. I just put 2 pairs in my Element with a Rockford Fosgate Amp to power them and they ROCK!!!!!
