harman kardon car speakers

Im not sure where you live or what is available to you. but Harmon Kardon is the manufacturer of JBL and Infinity. So if you cannot find HK readily, then you have these two names to go with.

99 BMW 323i. I didn't use it for 5 days. When I return, I notice that the speakers have lost clarity. Whenever I increase the volume, it doesn't sound good anymore. Harman Kardon speakers- actually very good. I looked it up and I'm in no position to do any troubleshooting. How do you guys handle car-stereo/speakers issues? I'm new to the NJ are (in Bridgewater)- where would I take it to check it up? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

PS: are we talking about auto body shops? Or are we talking about Best Buy/Radio Shack? Who's better?

Your problem sounds like you might have blown the speaker,If I were you I'd go on line type in car stereos,NJ
bridgewater you should get some stereo care places.

In my old car i had 2 12inch rockford p2 subs. front speakers boston acoustics and back 2 pioneer and a sony deck. It sounded great. I just bought a new car which is a BMW 325i 2006 with harman kardon speakers, what can i do to make it sound as good or better then my previous car. I will buy subs but do i need to replace speakers because harman kardon is a good company?

Yes Harmon Kardon is a good company, but stock speakers ususally don't come close to being as good as the aftermarket competition. Get a good set of front components and forget about the back. You may have had good luck with Sony decks in the past, but most consider them at the bottom of the barrel in the car audio world. Go for something better this time around like Eclipse or Alpine.

2006 harley davidson electraglide, with a Harman Kardon system with 2 ohm speakers, since its a little tough to find 2 ohm speakers sometimes, i was wondering if you could run 4 ohm car audio speakers with it. I am not running an amp, there is a Harley amp to go with the system, but that is also rated for 2 ohm speakers.

They will work no problem, but as another answer said, they may not be as loud. You get into trouble when your speakers are a lower impedance than what the amp is rated for; that could fry your stereo.
