How do I make my Kenwood speakers fit in my car?
SPEAKERS AND NITROUS EXPRESS

I bought some Kenwood car speakers to replace my old factory speakers in my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. The speaker is 6 3/4" speakers and that size is supposed to fit. When I took out my old speakers and tried to put in my kenwood speakers, it does not fit. It is a bit smaller than the opening so I can't reach the screw holes to screw in the speaker.
What can I do...get a speaker adapter bracket? If yes, what size?

You could seek the advice of a crutchfield representative as they have bracket choices they say fits your model and year.

Kenwood components, Bizzare KreaTionz

i wish to buy car speakers for my kenwood car audio system in my Maruti Alto Car. its output power is given as 45*4 W. so is its total output power is180 Watts? can i connect speakers with total peak power 220 Watts or in that range?
which are all the positions that i can fit the speakers in my car? please suggest some series of speakers tat will match the head unit specifications. Thanks in advance...

on the manual of your head unit should say the watts rms...(continous power that a speaker can handle)...look at the watts rms and buy speakers that match those watts rms or buy bigger speakers...lets say that your head unit gives 20 watts rms per channel...(I) would buy speakers rated at 25-30 watts rms...that way there would be less distortion when you turn up the volume...and you won't run the risk of blowing your speakers

How do I make my Alpine amp power my kenwood car speakers on full power?

Hey all,
Need help with a basic sound setup for an '01 focus. I have an Alpine MRP-T220 amp, KENWOOD KFC-S5782C speakers and a Clarion DB165 head unit. I have everything loosely wired up with a wiring kit and the two new speakers only seem to be working at half-power. Have tried adjusting the gain on the amp to full and still nothing much better. Having to turn the head unit up full to hear a track. When i plug the loom back in and the rear factory speakers kick in they work much louder.

Any ideas why this would be happening???

you could have ur speaker wires crossed

How do i give my 6x9" car speakers more bass?

I bought myself a new car with a kenwood headunit, and 6x9" kenwood speakers, They are pretty old speakers so i replaced them with 300Wmax pioneer speakers. I am sure my mate has the same, if not worse pioneer speakers but thet give out much more bass. If i upgrade the head unit will that give the speakers more bass? Would an amp alone give them more bass or would i need an amp and a sub? Im not to sure where the bass in speakers comes from?
Thanks
yeh i did try that

There typically isn't that much from bass from speakers but those are really nice speakers.

Your head unit probably pumps out 2xx watts. around 50 watts to all your speakers. That means that your brandy new nice speakers are only getting 50 watts max of their 300 max.

If you have the money and want your system to bang, get (2) amps and a subwoofer setup ((2) 10" are usually good for station wagon type vehicles (jeeps, dodge magnum) and (2) 12" is usually the normal for sedan vehicles with subwoofers that go in the trunk) The reason for (2) amps is that you would need (1) for your subwoofers and (1) for those nice new speakers you have.

Now here is what to do for cheap good sound. Run to your nearest car audio store and grab yourself an amp that is at least 600 Watts (RMS!!!) RMS is the average rating for them. Most boxes show the wattage in MAX watts. The box will probably say around 1000 watts MAX. Then get a wiring kit that is of the same wattage rating of your amplifier. Then hook up your 2 speakers to your amp. This will give them the 300 watts they need.

On your head unit, there should be a button that says EQ. That means equalizer. In that menu, you will find settings like Bass, Treble, Loud. Things like that. Put your bass fairly high and your treble just a few notches above zero.

Your system will BANG if you do all that.

Really sorry if it is confusing. It is 7am here. lol.
