you could also build racks in the corners (as I did). Works well, and looks nice.
but wire's off of visible floor joyces can work well too. If it's a finished garage I would build corner racks.

down to just the size of the woofer and then mount the mid and tweet on either side of the reduced cabinet?
Also looking for a small amplifier that has at least 140w per channel x 4 and a small graphic equilizer with seven or more bands.
quite likely very much the speakers are mad to phase an array so the the frequency does not over lap in faze array distortion

You have to get road cases for them. They're expensive but definitely worth it and you'll have them just about forever.
I want to buy something with two subs that is loud and looks pretty good too. However, I wonder which is better and what is the dif? Also, if i can connect them to a receiver?
DJ speakers and PA cabinets are pretty much the same.
You can connect either to a receiver, but you would not want to use that for events with an audience. The receiver will not be loud enough and if you push it too much it will distort the sound. Distortion is what blows speakers.
You really need to invest in a proper power amp for your system. The watts of the amp should be at least the watts rating of your speakers to get the best sound from them.

In a Premier Guitar-filmed video tour of the Marshall factory (below), Paul Marshall (son of founder Jim), had this to say about the history of the 100-watt stack:
“The company’s history goes back to 1962, when Mr. Marshall, my father, had a music shop in London. He used to play [in bands] with Pete Townshend’s father, so Pete Townshend used to go into the shop to have his guitars repaired…and buy his own musical instruments from there.
“When he was in there, he obviously asked about the amplifiers. He wasn’t happy with the amplifier he was using, and so Mr. Marshall built an amplifier for Pete Townshend with [engineers Ken Bran and Dudley Craven] at the back of the shop.”
