speakers 6 inch

I have 6 inch speakers and the speakers in my car went out son i cant turn my music up loud.. I simply want to know how to put the speakers in my car... PLEASE HELP

ok, when you remove the old speakers pay attention to where the positive and negative connections are located then just plug them in to the corresponding connections, if you get lost try a web site called motified life, you can look you the color codes for your cars speakers

will a 2 channel amp run 2x 6 inch speakers and a sub at the same time or will i need a 3 channel amp for this?

It can be done, but it's not recommended. What you're planning is called "tri-mode". Most bridgeable 2-channel amplifiers can do it.

To operate a 2-channel amplifier in tri-mode, you need three things:

1. 4-ohm speakers
2. A 4-ohm, single-voice-coil subwoofer
3. Passive crossovers to keep the bass out of the speakers, and the high frequencies out of the subwoofer.

You can't connect the speakers and sub together without the crossovers, or you'll run into impedance problems with the amplifier.

The problem with this type of setup is that you won't have individual level control over the sub or the speakers. If one is too loud and the other is too soft, there won't be anything you can do about it.

You'd be much better off using a 4-channel amp, or separate 2-channel and mono amps.

I want to use those little bass blocker capacitors on my Infinity Kappa 6.5 inch car speakers. The base is muddying up my mids. I will eventually add a sub to fill in what is missing. What frequency do you recommend I cut the bass off at?

I recently ordered 6.5 inch speakers for my mirage. Although i havent received them yet, it turns out that the stock speaker size for the mirage is only 5 1/4 i think. Will i still be able to install the 6.5's without spending too much? Thanks!
