" My car has a GPS Tracking device already installed how do i track the car on the Internet?"
The average GPS receiver does not have a transmitter and will not allow you to track your truck or car so you will need a real GPS tracking device.
Some vehicle have OnStar which can find the location of your vehicle and some use car dealers may install tracking device to keep track of their property till it it paid off.
It really depends on what type of tracking device you have purchased. Some GPS tracking device only record where the vehicle has been and you have to remove the tracking device to retrieve the route information. There are other GPS tracking device that uses GPRS and you can track it almost real time on the Internet, about every 2 minutes or so.
There are also GPS devices that uses both GPRS and WiFi like the DASH navigation system.
There are device like TomTom that you can sign up with TomTom Plus service and track your friends that have TomTom Devices.

I'm getting a bit of unwanted attention. A few incidents have made me suspect that someone has fitted a GPS device on my car. Where would it be fitted?
If your car is locked then someone looking to that would only have access to the outside of the car. They would only be able to get something under your car or under the bumpers. You should try to get a look under your car. Get a piece of carboard (so you don't get your clothes dirty) and lay it on the pavement and have a look under your car. Try to look for anything out of place, something that looks taped onto the car or maybe stuck with magnets. If you don't know what to look for, maybe have a friend look under the car for you.
If someone can open your car, then they can place 1 under your dash, under a seat, or maybe take the back seat off and place it inside the seat and then put it back, or in your trunk under the lining.
It is possible for someone to do this. It may seem a little paranoid of you, but it's worth checking into if you have this kind of weird feeling.

Recovering Your Stolen Car with the Help of a GPS Tracking Device ...
By Greg Bartlett
The FBI’s statistics claim that a car is stolen every 33 seconds . With 1 in 210 vehicles being stolen, US citizens experienced a loss of $6.4 billion from stolen automobiles in 2008. For most people, the idea that their car would be the 1 in 210 that is stolen is never considered, much less planned for. Some people don’t think to lock their cars or take any sort of anti-theft precautions, which may mean that they will find themselves without a car and with the expense of purchasing a new vehicle should their stolen one not be recovered.
And unfortunately, recovery rates aren’t high. According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, only 63% of stolen cars are recovered. For one man in California , his car was the 1 in 210 stolen, but it was also one of the recovered vehicles because he installed a GPS tracking device in his car. When his truck was stolen from his workplace, the man was able to use live tracking to find his vehicle and locate the address where it stopped. Once the owner alerted police, they were able to arrest the thief and recover the vehicle, undamaged, within a few hours of the theft.
