I'm looking to buy a GPS navigation system to my car. I heard that Tom tom has maps for many places around the world. Any recommendations?
I have a tom tom 700 and have used it all over Europe. I like it because it has a hard drive and doesn't use a memory card.

Garmin has more support and more in depth maps. The newer systems are a lot easier to use then they have been in the past. I got mine from www.consumerdepot.com a few months ago and love it!

I got a tom tom but I can't use the traffic part since my phone isn't supported??? whatever. But I'm trying to find a good one thats 4" or larger with good poi's, affordable traffic service, and easy to read screen. any help?? thanks :o)
How about Garmin StreetPilot c550? It is very easy to use right out of the Box. You can spend a fortune on these things and get all these options that you will never use. The screens are easy to navigate and the voice is not so loud to become annoyingwhen giving dircection. And it is on sale now, a decent deal for it is only $350 instead of $500.

I would like to buy a GPS navigation system for my car and I am down to two. Tom Tom Go 910 and Garmin Nuvi 350 can someone please let me know what you think about each of these items which one is better I need help there are so many out there.
If you're in the U.S., the Garmin Nuvi is the best. It uses the better Navteq map data. If you're in the U.K. or Europe, TomTom is better with the TeleAtlas maps.
