is this better than the Garmin-i5 StreetPilot??

it all depends on what specific options you need in the device. Garmin is the better known maker, but, like I said, it all depends on what you like and need.

Since you said reliable, skip Magellan. Their equipment is decent, but as soon as something goes wrong with it and you need technical support, you're on your own. Their support is outsourced to India, and while they are polite, they only read scripts and are not very knowledgeable. If I were you, I would be looking at Garmin or TomTom. Between the TomTom ONE and Garmin nuvi 200 you list, the TomTom is the better deal since they are equivalent units and the TomTom is cheaper. The C330 is decent, but it is fairly large.

Go for it, but it is not going to stay that price for long. I been watching those on my waiting list and they always reach up and pass one hundred dollars. But I finally bought me one.
