Looking for a navigation system for an SUV. I want a screen bigger than 4.3". What would you suggest?

I'm going to need more information like what features you want and if you want a portable gps or in dash.

Generally speaking the biggest portable GPS is going to be 4.3". In dash will be bigger. I am not too familiar with in dash but I can tell you a lot about portable.

In terms of portable GPS get a Garmin they are the best GPSs around, and try to get a model that ends with '5' these are the newer models so they have posted speed limits, faster routing, etc...

If you want an entry level GPS one that just gets you where you need to go get a Nuvi 205. Right around $100. I've been having one for a year and its great.

If you are looking for a top of the line GPS for $100 more you can get the Garmin Nuvi 855. It has more features like text to speech(it will speak out street names you turn on), voice recognition(speak in your destination instead of having to type it in), lane assist(realistic view of the streets to assist you in what lane you need to be in), etc...

What did you see from the GPS Screen? I know it is prohibited but I think someone may have actually have done it.

I used to pull out an old handheld Magellan 315 when I traveled -- this was before we had the true navigation systems that we have today; it just basically told you where you were and didn't have any streets on it. It was a hoot -- you could tell have fast the airplane was going, what the altitude was, etc. It worked pretty well on a window seat -- nothing to obstruct the signal up there!

I haven't tried it in years, and from what I've read the airlines have banned them for whatever reason.

Im tryin to find a car that has the touch screen gps and radio and all that let me know thanks.

Its a $1500-$2500 option. Just buy an aftermarket GPS and a good stereo. You will pay 1/2 the amount.

Because I found a gps screen under my seat. It won't turn on it has no battery.
i dont know anyone that could have left it there. and i have recently been dating a guy whos kinda.... questionable. so im suspicious of the gps.

NO but they can trace your every movement, if they have your cellphone Number, so watch out...
