Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 or Earthmate GPS Receiver with Street Atlas USA 2008
I can't compare the two as I have no experience with Street Atlas, but I do have considerable knowledge on Pocket Streets and I hate it. I don't want to get inot the gory details here (you can email me if you need more info) but I find it to be the most worthless piece of GPS software I have ever seen.
revision3.com Portable GPS device, combines both a satellite communicator and GPS in one device. Figure out where you are, send messages to say ...
Hi,
I want to record the location co-ordinates wherever I take a picture. I have a GPS receiver (Earthmate), similar to the one which comes with MS Streets& Trips. I don't want to use a laptop. Are there any devices out there which can be connected to this receiver and log the coordinates?
Thanks.
I have a magellan and it gives you the coordinates of where you are standing. Just input locate and it does it for you. It will record it in favorite locations. I'm not sure you can download it but you can input it manualy.

I have a Toshiba Genio PDA, a Earthmate GPS receiver and Microsoft streets and trips. Can I convert these 3 into a PDA based GPS system. Or any other suggestions for doing so will be helpful.
Thanks.
I used my Dell Axim as my GPS when i need it. Im not sure about your PDA but if it has a CF slot or Bluetooth you can get a GPS module for it, after that you need true navigation software. I use mapopolis and find it to do pretty well. Depending on where you are there are better software with better maps.
