I am planing to Buy A Garmin GPS, However I need a Garmin That is International GPS and it will work anywhere in the world. Or there is something else better than Garmin can anyone help me.
Garmin's are the best GPS out there. There really easy to use, and very clear maps. All GPS units are international. The difference is that some don't have the pre loaded map. Your going to want to research which ones have that feature. You can also update any map or download other country's from the computer at garmin.com. Good luck!

I'm planning to get a garmin gps but when I looked online, there were so many series available. Baffled by the variety, I don't know which one is right for me. I need something preferably 4.3 inches, a speaking gps, real time traffic alerts and reroutes etc. I don't really care about bluetooth or picture views. Can someone give me differences between all the models?
if you want traffic updates the garmin that has it built in starts at the garmin 370. in other words you can get a lower model but you have to also buy the receiver to get traffic updates
but the "good" traffic receiver starts at the nuvi 680 with is powered my msn. not only will it tell you about the traffic but it will also tell you the times of local movies in the area, local gas stations fuel prices, and weather.

I'm looking to buy a good priced GPS system that will list all the attractions (like museums, beaches, things like Mount Rushmore, ect.). Is there one around like that in the price range of $350 and from Garmin? If not, is there one like that from Tom Tom or another brand?
I would say a great price for a Garmin GPS unit was available at Costco for $349, and it was for the Nuvi 760 which is an excellent unit with 6M points of interest and a 4.3" display along with Text to Speech turn by turn directions.
I would shop around and see what is available, currently, the top unit for Garmin is the Nuvi 880 with the VR feature. The Magellan Maestro 4250 is probably an excellent value at also $349 with AAA tourbook that will offer you ratings for restaurants etc. TomTom 730 at $399 also offer map share and tons of POI's. I would go to a near by GPS retail store and look over the units. If you are in San Jose are, try Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc.

Looking to get a Garmin GPS and I dont feel like spending $500 or more on a GPS. The ones im looking at are the 200W and 260W. Anyone have or know anything about these two models?
I have a garmin gps forerunner and it hooks up to the computer by a parallel cable, how do I connect it to my laptop which dont have parallel connections now? Is it garbage or is there any way to bypass this?
Are you sure your Forerunner uses a parallel connection? That connector is very wide and flat. I am fairly certain the Forerunner uses a serial cable. This connector is two rows high and maybe five pins wide. The parallel connector has many more pins.
If it uses serial, just buy a serial to USB converter. Be forewarned that serial to USB converters do not always play nicely with programs that are expecting to deal directly with a serial port. I tried to use a serial to USB converter with a Garmin eTrex and I spent half an hour messing around before it would connect.
