Yes you can install software like any other Pocket PC - Its a Windows Mobile 5 device.

Also of note - it does come with 2gig of storage space but most of that is taken up by the pre-installed GPS maps.

You'll have access to about 300 meg - which is still a LOT more than most Pocket PCs.

Is it compatiable with my XV6700 Pocket PC, I just bought it over the internet and should be receiving it soon...So please tell me is it compatible.

Bluetooth is a standard of connecting wireless devices - if your pocketPC has the software to run a GPS then the natural extension of that is that the pocketPC will recognise a blurtooth device and try to connect.
