Hi: Garmin by a long shot.
Better quality, upgrades available regularly and outstanding customer support and more user friendly.
I have nothing but Garmin in my car and plane.
I have owned both but i prefer the garmin.

garmin gps trouble, cant download map

i have a garmin 76 and want to download a bluechart map. i had to buy an adapter for the cord they sent me so it would plug into usb, but my computer doesnt recognize that its plugged in. Any advice????


I had the same problem, but just used a different computer and it went fine. Try a friend or library computer.
