gps module

I can use the car battery ( 12 V ) to supply the power but how would I go about to getting that power to the 3 portable devices that'll be installed in the car ? GPS module takes 12v, microcontroller takes 5V and modem takes 3V.
Need a voltage regulator of some sort but not sure how to go about it.. ANY suggestions would be of great help.

Park the car and use the power outlet in the Garage. Just kidding.

Why would you need 3 devices.

But you need to add :
1. GPS software / application,to proceed the data come from your LD4W and to pinpoint the position on the map.It can be found here (i hope) http://www.maps-gps-info.com/fgpfwmobile .html#Java
2. MAP.Try your effort to find the free downloadable one on the net.

i ve a nokia n95 (normal edition),i was using the gps with nokia maps application as soon as i engaged a point to drive to the phone got hanged while calculating the route to that particular destination so i pulled off the battery from the phone while the phone n nokia maps application was running,so my question is does the phone memory or gps module would ve got damaged on pulling the battery off from the phone while the nokia maps application was on?

Hi! How about checking out some auto wrecking yards, or watch for people parting out late model cars or trucks. Late model Trailblazer or GMC Envoys were easy to remove as they are located under the rt second row seat which tips up out of the way. You can remove them in about five or ten seconds! Good luck with your project!
