gps navigator

I have a Nokia N78 hp that has an internal GPS. I really need a gps software (symbian or jar) without the need to connect to the internet while navigating. Downloading maps with internet is acceptable but not while navigating cause it make a large hole on my budget while using google map navigator as an example. A surprised gift for anybody who could help me with this.

I have a Dell Axim X3 and I want to use it as a GPS navigator. It has no bluetooth capabilities but ideally I would want to connect it to a bluetooth GPS receiver.

How do I install bluetooth capabilities into my Axim X3? Once I do that can I receive signals from the bluetooth GPS receiver?

How will I go about doing this ?

You will need to get a bluetooth sdio card. Bluetooth gps devices usually use a bluetooth virtual serial link.

Probably not. Most car navigators only allow for updating maps or (maybe) the operating program.

I'm looking for a reasonable priced automobile GPS navigator with features of turn by turn direction, voice prompt, provides most direct route, fast off-route and detour recalculation, choice of route setup, route avoidance, and easy to use.

Garmin is a best gps system and gps for car, Garmin has a simple controls - simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, has a turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and more feature.

I suggestion a Garmin nuvi in an advance model is a 255W, 760 for the higher model is a 755T, 765T, 785T, 885T.

Whats the difference? or are they the same?

A gps Receiver is the gps chip inside the device both tracking and navigation have these so in short the receiver is how the transmission of the data from the Satellite is received to the device. after that the device does what ever its programed to do to get you the info.
