I dont know what is the functional difference between the SD and MMC cards. What's offering the SD and what the MMC?

The main difference between SD and MMC is that SD supports a DRM scheme that would be used by MP3 players, should anyone ever produce one that uses them.

For most uses, there is little difference, so just look around for the best deal ( which constantly changes, try Crucial, Play and CCL )

I have a gps with an sd card (computer has no sd ports) and I have connected it to my Pc the pc says its looking for software and then it can't find any.It does not come up as a device under my computer.Is there any software(Gps Software) for Magellan RoadMate 2200T Gps system or any magellan

Get a memory card reader\writer, and stick the SD card into the reader.

My GPS unit has a PC card slot, it says its can be used to d/l background pics and save waypoints, Its a type II but I'm having a hard time finding PC cards for storage Are they old technology, the unit I have was manufactured in 2004. Just curious, havent been able to find any other info anywhere else.

I own a rino 520HCx and I wanted to know how to save the track log from the gps unit directly into the micro SD card inside the unit. I wanted to transfer track logs to the PC but it only reads through the micro SD card.
