Hi, I am going on a cruise soon and was wondering if when I run on the track that is on the cruise, will the distance and pace results of my Garmin Forerunner 450 (gps running watch) be messed up because of the ship's motion?
Although I don't have such a watch, I'm quite sure the answer is yes. GPS determines the longitude and latitude and calculates distance, speed, etc from that. Your cruise ship should have a sign on the walking deck that states how far one lap is.

I bought a new phone outside the country, it runs pretty well on Rogers network in Canada. I can do everything else but can't access the internet or GPS application. Called the manufacturer and they asked me to get the WAP settings from Rogers and put them in manually, which I did but still no luck. Any suggestions how could this problem be resolved ? By the way my phone is Sony Ericsson C702.
Unfortunately, Overseas phones Wont be able to run the web or gps as rogers for some reasons isn't setup to accommodate phones from outside of canada

I want a GPS that tracks where and how I am running, and shows where I am on a map.
I have a Garmin 660, it's great and affordable...
I've bought a 1990 bayliner 2655 and want a gps unit with depth finder...what is a good recommendation?
It all depends, as usual, on what your willing to spend. The Matrix 97, in my opinion, is one of the finest available, more than enough for most lakes and all rivers as it has a 1500 ft. depth range, 5" color display, full GPS chartplotting with built in unimaps, this is one fine machine, but at $800, you may want to consider downgrading in order to save a few bucks, depending on how many of the features that you really want. Here's the site..........
I'm looking for a GPS that has good features for running and has mapping functionality

Most runners I know who watches with GPS to improve their intensive training, on the road.
It is important that you consult your doctor before using an exercise program. Many novice riders do not know where to start when you begin to run. Thatmight prepare some questions like How long should I run? and How many miles per day is enough.
Furthermore, I believe it is important that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing designed specifically for the operation. Otherwise, you can create your own tires or injured by excessive use of certain muscles. Once your objectives, time and place for the enforcement of law and art at the site, now you should use a GPS clock.
More serious runners and riders have simplified their lives by investing in sophisticated equipment to monitor and pursue their aims, from the heart and how they fromweek week.
