gps tracker car

I want to find a good GPS tracking system for my car. It has to be lightweight and easily hid. Also something that isn't extremely expensive.
I'm not looking for a navigational system. I am looking for a device that I can track my car with from home when someone else is driving my car.

A GOOD vehicle tracker is not going to be cheap since it really is important to make sure the product you are buying is functional when you need it.
With that said, you can try renting a GPS tracking system from GPS4Rent at http://www.gps4rent.com/ and select the tracking system you wish to rent.
If you only need it for a weekend or a week, it would be cheaper to rent it since tracking system that you can track real time requires a subscription service much like the cell phone and it may not be worth it if for you to commit to a contract if you are not sure you really need it for a year or two.

My parents put a gps tracker in my car. I am in high school and they dont want me to leave campus and are watching my every move. I have no clue where the device is or what it looks like.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I would find the device and what i should do once/if i find it.

If it's your car and you pay for it and you pay insurance then I would check with state laws cause it could be illegal but if you don't own the car there's really nothing you can do

if my car is stolen, i want to be able to track it with a gps. i want a tracker that i can turn on after it has been stolen.

are these for sale to regular consumers? if so, where can i buy one? which type/model should i look for?

I think there is a GPS tracker on my car that my dad has put, but I pay for my car and it's in my name and I am 18, so I want to take it off. Can anyone tell me what to look for, where to look for, and how to take it off?!

Most trackers plug into the diagnostic port on the car, under the dashboard. Look there.

I have a jammer wich blocks every cell phone signal even 3g,and it blocks L1 and L2 gps signals,even wifi signals....but its still not blocking the signal for the tracker he has on my car...

Go to a mechanic and get them to remove it. At the same time, you should be able to just pull it off.
Also, after it's off, ask for it back and place it on a bus or taxi. Or maybe if u think u know who put it there, put it on their car.
