I want to download a GPS tracking system to track phones free. Please HELP!!!

...or if my parents can track me by the gps already installed in my car?....how could i tell if there is a tracking system installed?

It is possible for your parents to install a gps system and you wouldn't know it. They can also track you if your cell phone has gps capability.

If a fleet of vehicles were getting fitted with a tracking system so they could be monitored from the office. What do you think the pros and cons would be to set the system up?

pros's, you and the people tracking you always know where your at ,and if in trouble and on a unknown road even at night , system like on star can locate and help, all cell phones can be tracked withing 4 inches of actual location, bad side if you a car thief, or just killed some one they also know where you are, and where you have been , but really that's a upside to, a real down side would be the back up power is dead on the tracking unit and its not working and they cant find your off a cliff that would be a down side

Just wondering if the latest installments of traffic lights that are attachments to the metal structure have a tracking device to the parts. I recently saw that someone must have stolen the red, yellow, and green attachment to one by my house. Is it possible for the criminal to be found by any means? Is this piece worth any significant value if sold to a buyer? Thanks for any help you can give me to understand this!

why would they put it in the light isnt going anywhere and lojacks aren't cheap and to steal them they need a special vehicle to get to them. more likely either dot was working on them or some one shot them out or whoever installed it didnt do it right and they fell out

This is for commercial vehicles. The system does not require outside assistance (i.e. a company who charges a monitoring fee) but can be operated by someone within a company.

What is a good brand?

When you say "automatically downloads" you're talking about not having to remove the device to pull its info into the computer manually.

These exist, but I've worked with them for about 8 years without finding a system that works reliably. If you're comfortable with Wi-Fi wireless networking technology, then you may find these systems acceptable once you figure out where in your lot/yard you can park your vehicles and still get a connection.

These are becoming difficult to find now that real-time tracking via cellular is becoming so affordable, but I think Laipac still makes them.

If you don't mind having to manually detach a magnet mounted tracking device from under your vehicles once every few days and uploading the data to your PC, I highly recommend one of the "Tracking Key" models from a company called Rocky Mountain Tracking. They use the Google Earth mapping engine.
