Panasonic Strada Motion Bypass?

I am thinking about buying a panasonic strada double din GPS system for my car, but only want it if there is a way to bypass the safety feature that makes you put your car in park to use the nav system or dvd player...

Anybody know how to bypass it?

go buy a regular cd player, and spend the money in a good tv for you house
