Is the GPS TomTom XL 330 S a good, easy to use Car GPS? It's for my mom and I just want to know if its a good one. So any pro's and con's would be awesome!

TomTom GPS questions?

i have already decided that im going to get a tomtom gps for my car.
i have a few questions i need answered first before i decide on which one i want to purchase.

1. out of each of the series on the upper left hand side (http://tomtom.factoryoutletstore.com/) which one is the more recent updated version? ONE, XL, GO, or Live.

2. whats the difference between ONE, XL, GO, or Live? do they do different things or is one just an older style then the other?

Simple answer the One XL 130 didn't come with the FM transmitter have a look at the TomTom GO series, Other than that theres some usefull avice from BarryTheblade that would be a good alterative............René

What would be the best GPS navigator fo me?

Hello. I am asking about a GPs(navigation) system and i don't even have a car. Funny isn't it. But i plan to get one soon(6-8 months). I plan to buy a car for $3000 or less real soon so that i can visit people in different states. I really don't have a lot of experience driving from one state to another. I mean, i've driven to connecticut without any problems. Anyway, i've been looking into GPS systems such as the TOMTOM XL ONE. I really like that model, but it seems you would have to pay a monthly fee for Real Time traffic Updates. It says you hook it up to BLuetooth and then do something else. I have a tmobile bluetooth phone. Do i just Link the two together and get the real time traffic updates? And is the TOMTOM XL ONE really worth the price it costs? Please, if you could tell me your negatives and postives about it? Thanks in advance to everybody.
I just tested a panasonic Dvd monitor with a gps system built in. It costs about $999.00 at Best Buy. It's an in-dash and it looks great. It fold in and out also. Can i get everyone's opinion please. Thanks in advance.


Garmin is the most popular in the U.S.. TomTom is more popular in Europe. I suggest one of the Garmin Nuvi GPS systems because they are portable. You can use it even before you buy a car because they have internal battery power. URG....HELP I cant decide!! =)?

Im finally saving enough money to afford a GPS is gonna be a father day present for my dad, eventhough it already pass but his birthday is also coming up...so which of these two do u think is the best brand or which of these two should i buy 4.3 TOMTOM GO ONE XL CAR GPS NAVIGATION or NEW Magellan Maestro 5310 5" Wide Touch Screen which one has better quality and function. THanks EveryOne!!! =)


go with the Magellan Maestro 5310 its got 6 MILLION! point of interest if you've ever used the maps app on the iphone it is comparable to that if it doesnt beat it. umm 5 inches of touch screen! going to need to buy a car adapter charger. but if you dont it'll still last 3 hours.. umm the re routing system re routes you in 3 seconds tops. my Magellan Maestro 5310 was the coolest gps and best investment i could have made.
