I have the gateway t series laptop, and it does have an HDMI output. I believe that laptop moniters are basically LCD, correct? I've noticed that the pic does look better than my flat screen standard definition set. So would this make them (laptops) almost high definition? And are there actually laptops that are high def.? Like ones you could hook up a Playstation 3 to and play blu ray movies and games on?

Also, my laptop has the word "label flash" on it--what is that? And is the pentium dual core power any good? Wanting to know becase that's what it says on my laptop. thanks

Laptop screens usually start at 1024x768, or 1200x768 for the widescreen format. This is as good as a 720p tv. A 1920x1200 laptop has *better* resolution than 1080p HDTV.

However you cannot use the laptop screen as a display for your PS3.

No idea what "label flash" is.

I have a PS3 and a T.V. that is not that great only 27 inches. Just wondering if a Panasonic, Sony or any other brand Flat Screen Television would really make a huge impact. Not a small difference but a huge difference in the graphics? I am a little dissapointed in the graphics for the PS3 and I am wondering is this just because I have a basic tv. Do I need a flatscreen?

You really need an HD tv. Use with an HDMI lead and then see the diference in graphics. My tv is only a 27in but it is brilliant in HD. Good luck.lol
