I just got a flat screen t.v. hd tv but the picture is not that great. How do I make the picture more clearer and sharper?
Adjust the picture settings until the picture gets better. And if youre watching a standard 480p channel, the picture wont be very good. I know theres only a few HD channels, but turn it to one to see how the picture quality will just get so much better. I've found that Discovery HD has the best pic quality of any HD channel.

I have a Samsung flat screen tv- and the picture does not fill up the whole screen!! I went through the options and there is 2 zooms and 1 full screen option that stretches the screen out making it look bad. Any help is appreciated. Love the tv, but we paid for a large screen, not a shrunk down picture. Thanks!
1. It may be that you don't have a HD Dish receiver. That would be supplied if you purchased the HD package from Dish Network or Direct Tv. The standard receiver only supplies Standard Definition (SD) video which is the older squairsh stuff. Call them. . .
2. If you are using cable try changing the settings via the cable box to match your resolutions that the your tv can handle, if you don't have the settings on the remote control, call your cable provider and they should be able to talk you through it.
3. Go to http://forums.cnet.com/5204-13973_102-0. html?forumID=146&tag=forum-w;forums0 6 and post your question there. they have samsung techs monitoring the forum and give really good quick answers.

I have a Memorex Flat Screen and the quality is fine when I stand straight in front of it, but if I lie down on my bed and look at the TV it is blurry/ I can't see the colors all that clear.
What do I need to do in order to fix this problem? Is there a certain setting?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Im not sure what screen you have, but I'm willing to bet that it is either a cheap screen or a computer LCD. The vast majority of computer screens use TN (twisted nematic) technolgy. This is the cheapest type of LCD, but offers very fast response time (so it is good for games and fast action movies).
The weak spot of these screens is the limited viewing angle, especially from below. As you look from the sides, the colors start to invert and/or become blurry. There is no way to fix this.
The best thing you can do is tilt the screen so it faces you, or faces slightly below you.

I need to know how to clean a flat screen television and computer screen?
i need to get the stains off of it.
I use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water, and moisten a microfiber cloth with the mix. Swipe, swipe, all is clean! Use a gentle touch so you don't break any of the little liquid squares in the screen.
I am doing my research to get a flat screen tv. I am planning to go to best buy and hhgregg type of stores to look for flat screens. I don't like to buy online because I rather buy it in person. Is there anyway that I can negotiate the price of a flat screen tv? If so what are some ways I can try to make them lower the cost?
As a Best Buy employee I will tell you that the best way to negotiate a price is to buy something they have listed as EOL. This is a product that is "End Of Life" meaning that it has already had it's run, and will not be stocked anymore. There are penalties involved when we can not sell these products. We almost gave away an EOL receiver just so we wouldn't take a penalty on it. If you do not want to wait you can try haggling down the price of an "open box" item. This however, I will warn you, I never haggle on open box. You can however get a good deal on a flat screen that is missing a pedestal if you will be wall mounting.
