It's another example of discrimination of women, I think women should take a stand on this issue.
Is there something wrong with today's children seeing what our bodies look like? What's so wrong with knowing what we look like that we can't show it to 100% of the audience? So basically this is a joke to me, were blurring out nature, might as well blur out trees while were at it.
I demand to see boobs in 1080p High Definition on television.
WHO IS WITH ME?
VIVA LA REVOLUTION! Let the boob Revolution began!
Many of the answers here are a perfect example of how were so "in society" let's look at the bigger picture.
Do you see a sign on your body that says cover up?
I mean how about we show boobs but blur out the hair? Our body is our body it's silly to blur one part because of what society calls inappropiate.
Maybe I should start a revolution because I dont like to see necks not blured on tv?
I'm not saying that shows should be based on Women flashing their boobs I'm saying why can't we include it in part of the whole overall appearance of the show?
Now I understand there will be some people who will never agree with me no matter what I say, but I stand by my opinion. Let's blur out legs I find it inappropiate I mean its ridicolous when you think of it.
YOU know why we don't blur out legs because we see it all the time on tv, eventually if boobs are shown all the time on tv we'll never question it.
What a douche.

I am considering switching from cable to satellite television and already have a Tivo I would like to use. I do not have a High-Definition TV at the moment, but may plan to down the road, if this makes a difference. Can I use my Tivo with a satellite television service like Dish Network?
You can use a regular Tivo with your Dish boxes, but if you want an HD tivo, you will need to use cable since those Tivo units use cable cards to tune the channels.

I just recently upgraded to a 50" hp plasma television, obviously I've turned into a major couch potato over the last week. I have also upgraded my DirecTV to the hi-def service. My only gripe is that my local channels are not available in hi-def. I live in Greenville, SC and I know it is, by no means, the largest television market in the nation, but with over 3 million people in the market, it also isn't the smallest. I'm sure I'm not the only person set up for hi-def service, so my question is how can I find if/when my local channels will offer high definition service and who can I contact to start putting a little pressure on the local networks to speed up the process of getting it started.
I checked both the DirecTv website and Googled. Direct shows no upcoming plans, as you probably know. Dish shows they have Greenville in a future plan, but how future is not indicated.
If you can/want to put up a good quality aerial (now referred to as "off-air" antennas) you can receive your locals in HD if your broadcast area has switched over to HD. The individual websites for your ABC, etc., will tell you. Cheaper antennas tend to allow too much bleedover interferrence so that the digital signal doesn't have a chance to come thru properly. Channel Master Crossfire brand is one good example of a decent antenna.
Not sure who you contact to speed up the process. Sorry. Its an expensive and time consuming one with the stations getting the permission, the bandwidth, and all that.
Also keep in mind that your plasma will demand more power and a strong signal if you end up using an outdoor aerial for off-air.

That's a very very nice computer. You will be able to play most games comfortably. Games like Call of Duty 4 and others will play probably at full specs while Crysis and the like will not (but not many computers can run Crysis at full specs lol.)
You might want to see if they can ship it with XP instead of Vista because I find XP to be a lot more stable for gaming and pretty much everything else.
That graphics card (8400GS) is a high-mid card. The 8800 is the best price/performance ratio card, but the 8400 is still suitable for most games.
Please help!
Should I buy it?!!!

This is definitely worth the $1000 with the 6GB of RAM it will be plenty fast! However you might have trouble finding applications that takes full advantage of the 64 bit OS. You could downgrade to 32 bit OS but you would lose 2GB of RAM. I think that it is well worth the money and you will be fine with the 64 bit OS.
