3 Speakers Stereo

This speaker is a Mono speaker but sound is fantastic so was thinking of buying two of these and wiring a sort of bridge between the laptop/ipod headphone socket and 2 3.5mm pins that these X-Mini's use.

They just launched a stereo version called x-mini max, pretty cool......

Here is our new WIlson Audio Sophia series 3 loud speakers.

Stock stereo, 6-disc in dash CD player, 6 speaker system(4 6x8's leg level in front and rear doors, 2 eye level tweeters in front doors). I am no audiophile, nor a tech-spert. I think I have a blown front 6x8, and just want to replace them all, with some good thump, but can plug and play in the stock system/location. You are all the best!

yes and no.
the radio will send enough wattage for the speakers to play at moderate to low volumes but when you start to crank the volume past halfway they will sound distorted because the radios internal amp will be overworking itself trying to supply the necessary wattage, for best result you would need a amp on them

I have a laptop with a standard 3.5mm output jack. I also have some standard stereo speakers with "spring clip" jacks. The way I picture it, to connect them, I need some sort of amplifier in the middle (a stereo would be kind of bulky). But I am not exactly sure what to look for. What is an amp like that called? What are some good brands/recommended products? Are there better ways to connect speakers? Something cheap (~$50) would be preferential, even if it's used.

Any stereo amp will do (most use spring clips).
All you need a a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable to connect the PC to the amp.

If you want to do this because you have quality speakers then you need to spend money on a quality amp ....sound is only as good as the source.
It may not be worth the hassle of all that hardware when you can just buy phenomenal quality 200W RMS amplified PC speakers like the Logitech Z-2300 series for less than the price of a decent standalone amp.
