Acoustic Audio Speakers

They can handle up to 1000 watts. I also want to know the best placement for these in my trunk to maximize sound quality and loudness.
i also am purchasing a set of tweeters, midrange, and 6X9s will i have to purchase two amps or can i buy an amp that can power all of these

if its a hatch fire the subs up towards the glass.
If in a trunk fire to the rear.

Amp really depends on your budget.
for about 1000rms @1ohm on a budget id look on ebay.
If you have some cash to spend id go to a local shop.

I review the Acoustic Audio AA3009 2.1 Speakers

thinking about buying a pair of supposedly 800 watt speakers off ebay, thru deepdiscount.com. Are these any good or not...their feedback has me guessing .

They are cheap junk! You'd be far better off going to Circuit City or Best Buy and spending $300 for a HTIB, and I'm no fan of HTIBs. Sorry, but there are NO good $10-$30 speakers!!!

Acoustic Audio 10 inch home theatre powered subwoofer use speaker wire or subwoofer cable?

Use a long RCA cable.

If you use speaker wire - you have to run wires from the left/right outputs to the sub, then more wire from the sub to the left/right speakers.

Then you have to tell your receiver your left/right speakers are LARGE and you do not have a sub to get things to work.

A single long RCA cable is simpler. You can even make your own with pre-terminated CATV coax and some "F-to-RCA-Male" adapters from Radio Shack. Subwoofer signals work fine and do not need any kind of higher end RCA cable.

Bose blows, and thankfully they dont offer a aftermarket speaker.

ok your looking for good sound for listening to a lot of acoustic music. i'm going to have to 2nd the guy that said Boston ACOUSTICS. the name says it all. i own a pair of there z6's and they sound freakin awesome. best car audio sound i've ever heard. there other stuff is really good too. here is a link, with good prices, you can check them out for yourself. there SL line is really good. you might also want to try ebay.
