Audio Speakers Canada

I'm planning to setup a home theater system and I've found a tv for a decent price but all the audio equipments especially the speakers are wayyy over priced at Futureshop. Does anyone know any audio equipment stores that has walk-in samples near the Vancouver region or a website that I can order quality speakers for a very cheap price?

Drive to the US, buy it down there, bring it up, pay the stupid GST/PST at the border....and you will still be ahead of any store in Canada.

Hey, i live in canada, BC. I can buy some kicker stuff (car audio, amp and speaker and wiring) at million buy.com But im trying to get somewhere cheaper than that, and that takes paypal. Allot of site have some hidding fees for the shiping, so i pay a fortune at the door. So if can anyone tell me a good site, i would really apreciate it :)


If millionbuy.com is the best, is that site safe? And if i order over 600$, and around 50 lb, how much will i pay at the door? tks alot :)

Exactly lol--yes I know Canada has its number of French speakers, but that's less than 10 million, as opposed to the United States, which has over 45 million people who speak Spanish at home...so why is hollywood biased towards French? (No offense but I like Spanish dubbing better, if I get bored of watching a movie in English I can watch it in a completely different manner, I'm spanish fluent, lol) Every time that I turn on a dvd to check out the dubbing, 50% of the time it is French or English only, 15% there is none but English, another 15% it is English, Spanish or French, another 15% it's in English or Spanish, and the rest of the time it's a different language all together. Not that I'm ticked off about it or anything, but I'm just curious, why is french so favored?? Wouldn't this be a marketing flaw?

Funny - in most cases there is more translation in Spanish - in the matter of books, for instance. I thought it was just here in Quebec we had more French dubbed movies. A good number are in 3 languages though. Perhaps one thing that influences is that there could be legal problems with selling or renting movies in Quebec that don't have French dubbing, while I don't think there are any laws in North America that make it illegal to sell or rent without Spanish dubbing. (At least not in the US or Canada).
