Audio Speakers For Computer

the speakers are part of the monitor, and even when everything's set to the max, its significantly softer, what should i do?

Volume is set many places. There is the core audio volume, the program volume, and the speaker's volume.


To check the core...
If you are using a PC, goto start->programs->accessories->audio control. Play around with the settings there, and you might have some luck.

A Mac
Under sound in System Preferences.

If its none of the three, you might have luck using headphones to check if their volume is the same as usual. If it is - the problem is with the speakers, if it isn't, it is still a volume setting in the computer.

I recently ordered a vga cable for my xbox so that i could play it through my lcd computer monitor but the monitor doesnt have a composite audio jack and neither does my computers sound card. Is it possible that i could play the audio through my computer speakers by connecting a composite RCA to 1/8 cable to connect it to my computers mic or line-in port? If so how can i do this?

You already have it right! Just pick up this RCA to mini-stereo adapter and plug in the 2 RCA audio outputs.

Then Plug in the 1/8" mini-stereo jack on the other end into your PC audio line-in port. Make sure the MUTE check box for the line-in is unchecked in the Windows volume control panel and you are all set to go!!

my computer speakers work when i test them from the control pannel , but dont work when i play audio on my computer, does anyone know what the problim could be? ive tested them on the control pannel and it makes the noises, i dont understand why internet audio/ computer audios wont work. please help

Click on the little speaker in the bottom right corner and make sure all the sound options are on high and make sure mute is off

i have a usb video capture device that i use to record video from my tv. the only thing is that when i record, i need to unplug the audio cables from the tv and put them directly into the capture device. this makes it so there is no sound going through the tv, because it is being recorded on the computer. is there any way to make the sound from the audio cables play through the computer speakers while recording so i can still have sound?

I have an LCD TV and would like to hook up a nice set of compter speakers I own. The only audio out is a single digital audio out port. When I hook up the computer speakers they sound really bad. Is there a way to hook them up without having to buy an expensive amplifier etc.????

Buy a cheapo surround sound system.
