how do i know what type and size of car audio speakers/amp/woofer to put in nissan sentra '04?



the 04 sentra has 6 3/4" Speakers front and rear basically this usually means they put there shitty 6.5 paper waffer board speakers in a plastic case... so you will more than likely need 6.5" speakers.

as For amp that depends on your subs.
And as far as subs go it really depends on what your looking for.
for a rock setup i reccomend
-one or two 10" Subs in a Sealed Enclosure (the sealed enclosure will allow you to keep accuracy but will not hit as hard as a ported enclosure.)
-For hiphop/dance two 12's in a ported enclosure

What type of speakers do i need to start a car audio system?

Im looking into getting a system out into my car.Its a 97 chevy blazer.the only factory speaker speaker that works is the driver side one.I have 1 sub that is a sony i believe.i don't know the amp wattage but its a 10 inch.i need to know what size speakers i should get and if i should get another sub.I was alson wondering if i should get a box to fit all the speakers in or get 2? 1 for the subs and the other for the smaller speakers. and is a Rockford Fosgate amp good enough for all the speakers i need


You should get one amp which drives your speakers as well as your woofers. There are some amps which are designed for this. Another option is to get a bass module with the amp built in. Either way you're going to want an amp for your mids and highs. Your local installer should be able to make some good suggestions. My advice is to bring some of your favorite music with you to help judge the sound quality of the different speakers. I have Polks in my Honda.
