from two audio tracks how can i get one stereo track? easily.
garage band? soundtrack pro?

yeah,
you can get either of those,
record two different audio tracks, press play, and they play together..
then save the song or whatever you are recording and post on the interweb.

I'm looking to buy a home theater system and the one i'm looking at only has a Coaxial Digital Audio input. However, I want to connect my record player to it, which uses a stereo audio cable (one from the record player to the phono preamp, and another from the preamp to receiver. Is there such a cable that can convert/connect the stereo output of the phono preamp to the coaxial digital audio input of the home theater?

look at a receiver that has analog inputs. The cable or device you are looking for is a receiver. It seems the one you are looking at will not cut it.

I can get it to play using this cable plugged into my aux jack on my car stereo, but it won't play on the computer or tv, even though it's plugged in where it's supposed to and says on the package that it can be used on any audio device with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Is there something extra I need to do to get it to work, or do I have bum cables?

My TV has a "coaxial audio out" and my speakers have a "3.5mm stereo in". If anybody could help me connect these two devices I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

By Coaxial, you mean a single orange connector?

If so, ya need a codec, which is a AV receiver to decode the signal.

And these speakers, are they computer speakers, or gaming speakers? Cuz ya can hook up your VCR, Videogames, DVD player through these speakers if you get a RCA to 3.5mm jack connector.

First, I would buy a video/audio switch box.
Second, hook up any video game connections, VCR, DVD, Cable, Satellite, or DVR connections to it
Afterward, use a Composite video/audio cable, sending the video signal to your TV, than the audio signals (red and white) to the (male to female) RCA to 3.5mm cable adapter, than hook up the male 3.5mm cable to the female 3.5mm female adapter and it should work.

if the file is originally in Mono. No
if the file was a stereo and saved back into Mono. No

Stereo file means you have 2 channels left and right with musical distribution on both sides.

You can Have a Stereo Signal on a Mono Track but it's not much of a Stereo Result. but it will be saved as a stereo file anyway !

You need a software to try and feel the difference I would advise: Sound Forge 8.0 by Sony - You can convert all types of files !
