Ceiling Surround Sound Speakers

The smaller the speaker the better and there will be four speakers in the ceilingin the television room and an additional two in the kitchen.

Hi. KEF make very good in ceiling speakers .What speakers are you using for you main left ,right,center arrangement .You want them to blend in with the sound if possible I don't know what your budget is which makes it hard to suggest one .Anyway here are a few to check out.

I'm just looking to run the wires along the creases of my walls in the cleanest manner visually.

Well, I wouldn't put them at the ceiling, I'd use the baseboards and then up the wall (if surface wiring), or run inside the wall (fish the wires or run down to basement and back up, or through attic and down, etc).

I recently wired an existing room for HT, and used Wiremold wiring channel (1st link) to hide the wires in plain sight by enclosing them in white plastic channels stuck to the baseboards and running up walls.

You can also use flat, paintable wire (2nd link). It can also be spackled. Perfect for surround speakers.

Can you plce the center chanel in the ceiling and not have the front and rear speakers drown them out.

It really doesn't make much sense. You would get a much better audio experience if they're at ear level. Slightly above or below - the point of a center console is that it gives the illusion that the sound is coming from the video. For the most part, the closer the direction of the sound the better the sound. Above? not so much.

My living room is small (10'x13').

Is it possible to surround sound set up with limitation of all speaker must be in-ceiling?
Except for subwoofer which will be on the floor

Wall mount is not possible at all.
There are two 6 ft glass door right in front with 12" wall in between to hang TV
At the back there is a glass wall.

Yes you can do it, although the sub would still have to be in the wall at the front, or on the floor neat the screen to give maximum performance becuase the sub needs to be on the floor to work properly, as the sound that they produce often are meant to be near the floor and they make the floor king of "tremor" at times, so the sub would not work to it's full potential in the ceiling, but all of the other speakers could be.

1) Obviously the speakers, try Martin Logan or Speakercraft, for in-ceiling speakers.

2) About 300 feet of speaker wire, in-wall-rated speaker wire, obviously.

3) A kick ass receiver that can handle at least 4 different zones of sound.

4) A Professional Installer, that can safely install the speakers, and run the wire through the walls and ceiling without cracking your ceiling. The installer will also be needed to properly program the receiver, which you will be spending several thousand dollars on if it needs to power all these speakers. This receiver will be extremely complicated to program.

You are looking to spend a lot of money on this setup, so don't try to do it yourself, if you've never done this before.
