Cheap Audio Speakers

Anything that works well with ipods are very helpfull. They would have to fit a 2003 Ford Mustang GT.

Subwoofers, Speakers, and a Detatchable Radio.

I'm going out to buy some things for my new car and i need some advice on what would work best. Would a Amplifier Be Good to Have?

depends on your budget but i would say first get a head unit ...CD player alpine is my fave and start small with say 2 10' subs jbl or jl audio Rockford fosgate are good choices
for a amp id get at least a 800 watt pioneer or other and wires a box so your looking at about
$400- 1,000 $ good luck

Is there any good but cheap speakers with digital audio optical input? I know logitech has the Z-5500 but thats to much for me right now. Any other options?

With digital audio in, in effect you are buying a small AV receiver+ speakers.
You may be better off, buying a low-cost home-theater in a box, but make sure it has an auxiliary s/pdif input.

when it comes to speakers "best" & "cheap" means something different to everyone, our tastes are different. what i can do is give some generlizations that may help you. first a soft material tweeter typically sounds more refined, and less harsh, but does not go as loud. so a silk tweeter will be softer and typically better sound than a titanium one. also larger speakers will provide more bass, and eliptical ones will tend to have more distortion than a round one. coponents will sound clearer, have better imaging and handle more power than a coax. but will also cost considerably more.

I have been looking at Boss Audio car speakers. I have heard that they were a pretty good brand name and read similar review. The price is very affordably cheap for these speakers. I am just wondering how good Boss Audio really is.
