bit.ly - The Music Bullet is a mini, portable speaker with gigantic sound and kickin#39; bass. The MusicBullet works great with many devices ...
I thought it was probably like, spyware or something, but ive done checks with my spyware program and it didnt catch anything, so it may be something else, like some program i accidentally installed without knowing it. It sounds like its internet radio, but it will go on for random times. This morning it went for about 10 minutes then stopped. Then just now it went for 2 commercials and stopped. I dont have any programs open at the time when it happens. When it happened now, i had just restarted my computer. If anyone might know something, please let me know.
You may be picking up a local radio station on the speaker wires. Try and wrap them with aluminum foil and ground that to the chassis. (ground) ~
With side by side wires that can also be fixed by putting a twist into the wires, which makes the induced signal cancel itself out.
If it actually comes from the computer due to possible spyware, get the 30 day trial of Panda at http://www.pandasoftware.com/download/So ftware/?sitepanda=particulares
Only run one anti virus program at a time.

I have a Comcast DVR outputing HDMI to the TV with the TV speakers deactivated and a optical audio cable from the DVR to my Yamaha 5.1 receiver. If I turn the TV speakers on, it seems to work fine. You might ask why I am complaining about an automatic TV commercial muting "feature" but some of the commercials I DO actually want to listen too!
The wiring to the amp's speakers works fine when receiving 5.1 sound; they have been tuned to the room. I did swap out the DVR box (box 2 to box 3) and had the same problem. The first box I had (box 1) had DVI and that worked fine. The TV does not have optical audio out but does have coaxial audio out; I will try that next. Now that I think about it, it might be a DVR conversion issue between different audio cable types. Thanks for the ideas to work on!!!
this sounds like a comcast box problem. It is nit in your receiver. trade it in, and make sure you get one with the most recent firmware.

every once in a while I walk in to find some commercial playing on my computer speakers. No programs or applications or running. Do I have a virus or what?
I have encountered this several times, and every time it has been a simple adware program. I forget which, but either AVG or Malwarebytes gets rid of it. They both can be found on download.com.
For the past 3 days there has been a stream of constant audio messages coming through my speakers. I have twice run my AVG Anti Virus program, Free Version8.5.339/2163, virus DB 270.12.57 for a total of 8 hours and it has removed hundreds of threats but not the audio messages. I have also done a System Restore to June 01, 2009. What else can I do?
Thanks!
